9 Ștefan Cel Mare Street

Pincu Kaiserman was 17 years old in June 1941 when he was taken from his home on Ștefan Cel Mare no 9, and escorted together with his family to the Police Headquarters. His mother and his sisters were liberated and returned home,  and Pincu and his father were arrested until the sorting started. Obtaining the ticket with the stamp „free”, they went back home and barricaded themselves in their house.

Pincu Kaiserman was the president of the Jewish Community in Iași during 1998-2010.
