Iancu Țucărman, Survivor of Iași Pogrom

On the morning of June 29, 1941, Iancu Țucărman (19 years old) together, with his father, was taken out of their home on Sărăriei street and escorted to the Police Headquarters. After a long day, on June 20, they embarked on the Death Train Iași-Podu Iloaiei. Of 137 people embarked on the wagon, only eight survived. Among them, Iancu Țucărman.
